Jl started wearing an earring this week.  Today in the computer lab he said he couldn't wear the headphones (that are taped into the port for good reason) because it hurt his ear.  "So what do I do?" he asked.  "Don't wear the headphones," I replied.  "But I want to," he said.  "So wear them," I said.  "But I can't," he said.

Was he messing with me?  No.  This is nothing new.  This is teaching third grade.
